Assets and Grocery Stores?

Is it just me or have all the grocery stores gone absolutely price made?

I went into Publix lastnight to pick up some veal cutlets to make Veal Parmigiana with the meat gravy. It ended up costing me $5.99 for a package of cutlets that usually cost $2.50 a package.

I almost dies when I was in the meat department looking at a beef roast. $74.00 for a beef roast?
Come on people this is Middle Tennessee, Not New York City!!!

I've lived in a dew different area's of the country.. Never seen anything like that.
Whats going on here?
This is Murfreesboro,Tennessee not Beverley Hills, California.

Are there really people who would pay $74.00 for a 3LB beef roast?
If Publix dosen't adjust there prices there going to go out of business just like Bi-LO did.
You gotta know Asset Protection just to go to the grocery store it seems.

There slogan at this point should be Publix "Where it's a pleasure to get ripped off"
